I just got back from a visit with the doctor concerning my knee. It turns out the strange feeling was inflammation/fluid in the knee. I haven't done any damage to it, but she recommends just not doing anything for a month and only doing dumbbell step-ups the second month. She also told me I couldn't run during my warm-ups, but luckily the elliptical feels fine. After these two months I return to, "see where I'm at".
Two months seems like a long time considering the nature of the problem. However, I'm fully aware that coming back early is not even close to worth risking long term injury.
What would your routine look like if it didn't involve legs? Would there be any sort of leg exercise that doesn't involve the knees? Is there anything else I should know?
Thanks in advance
