hey dude.

I even had a worrying moment when I went to get the thing bound because the printer for some unknown reason chose to not print about 25 pages of my reference list out, very odd that; it concerned me so much that after I'd taken the mpeg down to a comp at the college and printed them out and then gone and got it bound, that I asked the course leader to double-check all pages were present before getting a receipt. Fortunately I took the mpeg in case of problems with the binding. But, the final title to my dissertation was: "What do the writings of the Norse people tell us about the society that produced them and how does that image compare with the contemporary portrayal of the Vikings?" I ended up with around 3,000 words in footnotes, in fact the first page was 2/3 or more footnotes and a seemingly dinky paragraph at the top of the page. "Dinky", haha, yep, now I can go back to non-academic talk and poor grammar again

Hey WyomIAN, I heard you were on the move at the mo. I just wanted to say thanks for taking an interest in my dissertation subject, it was one of those little things that helped keep me focussed
