  1. sorry to hear about that. imo, anything above 20 kg + is strong as for females.

    do you do any high pulls or double high pull exercises, those are pretty nifty with KB's.

    Hubby just suggested I line them up down the stairs for a photo shoot I may do that in the next few days and upload a shot.

    I don't have a gym, I just line them up along the landing area (top of the stairs) etc. My mother and father passed away and left a small amount for each of the kids, so I decided to invest wisely and get something that I couldn't otherwise afford, at least not for a while.

    I'm up to a 20kg jerk on both sides now, aiming to get the 28kg with the right and the 24kg with the left arm, for now...current goals. Then I'll try and get the 28kg with the left and after that go for reps.

    Let me see, I have
    cast iron:
    2 x 7.5kg (only ones I could get and perfect for deciding whether liked them or not)
    2 x 8kg
    2 x 12kg
    2 x 16kg
    1 x 20kg
    1 x 24kg (not happy with the brand, two flat sides which I didn't realise from the image)

    All of the above are coated in a vinyl mix of some sort.

    Pro Grade steel
    2 x 8kg
    2 x 12kg

    1 x 24kg
    1 x 28kg (decided to get a heavier one whilst I could)

    Yep, some places just won't deliver here; but, I found a place that did and had decent KBs to boot...I have a few cast iron ones as well but they were got before I found the place that would send Comp grade to the islands otherwise I may not have got them. Though, I don't regret it, since they have a different centre of gravity when in use because they are smaller than the steel ones.

    Did I mention that I got some KBs in the end; I have a set of Pro Grade Comp steel KBs.

    Sorry if I seemed a little abrupt, I've had to to think about things now and have read thru Glenn's log. Either Thrusday or Friday I'll do 2 sets with each bar position at 60Kg and video them. Thanks a load for your input, I really do appreciate it.

    One hell of a leg press.
  10. From the video, I think your good for 100-110 kg. for 1-2 sets. Leg press after if feeling good (don't go heavy just get it done lol)
