You're welcome Pixie my friend. Glad you are feeling better this week now, and are back in the gym!

Nope, hadn't heard of that one but probably won't be trying it any time soon either the majority of my migraines are caused by the TOS in the upperback not so much dehydration etc, so the weird remedies wouldn't even touch them.

They really do come up with the weirdest things though.

(now, the question is, will this post on your message section or mine, it's the first time I've used this since the set-up was altered)

You're welcome on the reps! It is nice to find other women, of similar situations (50+, SAHM, CubScouts for son, etc) who enjoy real lifting.

Thanks...and i can say the same exact thing to you, as well, you would do so well to compete...so tiny but bursting with muscle. It's weird, i do fantasize about competing a lot...and when i look in the mirror, i compare myself to pics i have in my head of female competitors..like what i would need to do more to look "worthy" of that look...the competitor look. I know that being in a real gym now, it's more a possibility, though i don't know if it'll ever materialize. One of those bucket list things i guess. Joel has a ton of friends who compete, but in his mind he never would because of knee issues and not really training much below the belt.

I went into the mountains to hunt and workout for a month. I came out today for christmas- I'll be back on the forum again!

Haha, scythes make really quick work of gardens; our neighbour kept asking if I was going to mow it once I'd scythed it...erm, no! LOL...it looks great and gets a much closer cut than most mowers will give, so it doesn't need to be done as often and if it rains, I can ignore it without fear of getting bogged down in tall grass too...pretty much a win-win there; if I could get there, I'd be happy to scythe your hedges too.
