    Default Shoulders

    Hi,

My current shoulder routine includes Side delt raises, front delt lifts and reverse flyes.

Is it necessary to do all three every week or should i drop one exercise?

The front delt is used in all pressing exercises (bench press, military/seated dumbell press)
so although front delt raises aren't nessecary I find them great to superset with. Lateral raises and reverse flyes, in my opinion, are very important in the size and definition of the shoulder as a whole.

You dont necessarily need the front delt lifts (which as already been said ), but you are missing the main element of shoulder training, a press. You'll need a pressing movement in there at the start, e.g. dumbell press, military press etc. Check the new exercise database to find your favourite.
Also some shrugs for the traps should be added (unless you do traps on back day)

In most cases i think it is necessary to do all three workouts. However do to the fact that the front delts are used while bench pressing or overhead pressing I think that side raises and rev. db flys should be given priority.
