All the Whey whey protein blend chocolate
Very good and mixes very well in both water and milk. Affordable too, $30 for 5 lbs on the site I get it from.

    Also ATW Cinnamon Swirl
Smells awesome but tastes ok. Kind of a cinnamon vanilla. Affordable too, $30 for 5 lbs on the site I get it from.

    Cytosport EVOPRO Chocolate
I think it tastes very good and if you shake it hard enough it mixes well. Casein in general is harder to get all the clumps out. It is more expensive, $24 for 2.25lbs.

    Cytosport Complete Whey StrawberryBanana
Mixes very well. It tastes like strawberry banana but not very strong.

    Optimum Nutrition Natural 100% Whey
Pretty much what you'd expect from a natural product. Has been showing me the same results as the regular 100% Gold Standard, mixes well, but lacks taste. The price is the same between the two (41.99USD for 5lb.), but the Natural Whey has less protein by weight than the 100% Gold Standard (24g protein per 32.4g serving and 24g protein per 29.4g serving, respectively). So if you are concerned with the additives, food colors, etc. in protein powders then by all means the Natural 100% Whey is the way to go. If you're more concerned with taste and more bang for your buck, stick with the 100% Gold Standard .

ON 100% Whey is by far the best out there, it tastes great mixes fantastic and has only 2g of carbs and 1g of fat per serving. It has a hell of an amino acid bled added to it as well.
I can honestly say that I've tried dozens of other protein shakes and nothing even comes close. (and I'm not a rep for ON ;-)

Dymatize Elite Whey Protein Isolate - Rich Chocolate
Just arrived this morning and I am very pleased with it. Very modestly priced at $36.99 for a five pound tub. The powder itself is much finer than any other protein powder I have tried, making it extremely easy to mix. I mixed with a spoon this morning and it was very smooth. It tastes like genuine cocoa, and it doesn't have that "protein-y" taste that others possess. It's 74% protein by weight which is a very good amount, and it has a very large amino acid complex (nearly double what ON Gold Standard has). I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that is looking for a whey supplement. Dymatize is proving to be a very reputable brand, and I will be purchasing again in the future.

    I've had
Myprotein whey chocolate flavour- chalky and average
Reflex Instant whey chocolate - Very much like myprotein whey, very standard and overpriced compared to others
Boditronics express whey - First tub was 10/10 taste and everything else, tasted like drinking mars bars, 2nd tub seems to smell and taste slightly more chemically. Not sure what this is.
Boditronics Mass Attack - chocolate flavoured - excellent although can be a little sickly but the best weight gainer I've had
MP Max weight gainer chocolate mint - lumpy and unbearable, was almost sick on first taste (probably ok it done in a blender, its the texture.
Myprotein Instant Milk Protein (casein) - Unflavoured -- mixed with milk just tastes like drinking milk with sand (unless blended)
Holland and Barrett Protein - NO GO. SPAT OUT FIRST SIP!

Got some GN ENRAGE and Toffee flavour mass attack on order.

I thought it was good to take your protein shake in the morning with some simple carbs, which milk is a source of simple carbs...

As for my input, I've used ON Gold Standard Chocolate and I love it. I'm afraid to try anything else because I don't want to spend $40-$60 on something that I don't like. I might try the EAS for the price.

gasparin myofusion is the best tasting whey ive ever had. i bought a 5lb withouth trying it and i was damn impressed. Its the only one so far ive found that doesnt have that wheyish flavor. great investment imo. musclemilk(rocky road)...ok, eas(vanilla)...blah nothing special, ADS(chocolate)...not good. I would like to try ON though, seems to be popular around here.

Milk is a slow digesting protein though, which you dont want in the morning or post workout. You want a whey protein that digests faster and absorbs into your muscles quicker, therefore you would be better mixing your whey with water and some dextrose or waxy maize.

I have to say that I really don't like Myoplex. It doesn't mix well and has a bad taste. I haven't really been all that impressed.

Wheybolic extreme has been a good product. I like the taste but don't like the cost. I have used it for a while and have had good results.

I think I have read enough on here that ON Whey is a popular product. I think I am going to give that a try next.

i've had eas, didn't like it's taste at all, body fortress is horrible crap all the flavors suck!, i'm currently taking Dymatize and it's pretty good, i mix it in a blender so no probs there consistancy is smooth and taste cho. is good, van. is good, berry is alright, i guess i'm with alot of people when i say the berry ones always seem to taste off or bad, but Dymatize isn't too horrible.
i may try ON Whey next time i get some protein or All The Whey, but may end up staying with Dymatize

i tried syntha-6 and i think it mixed great and tastes great. i had the strawberry one. my friend had chocolate and i stole a couple of scoops from him once to taste. it was very good too! i also decided to experiment with cheaper proteins. right now, i picked up six star muscle protein for $20 and that isnt too bad. it mixes good and actually tastes pretty good for $20. i tried some crap $14 protein from wal-mart and all i could taste was water. my wife tried to convince me all the proteins are the same and its just the name that sells but i told her she is just crazy. i wanted her to taste the difference but she refused.

you may or may not know this but if the 14 dollar stuff is body fortress, and i believe it is, be aware that it has creatine already in it, so if you take creatine seperately you may be taking in too much

Ive had quite a few proteins in the past...

Muscle milk was very good tasting...but i heard it made people go crazy...
Tried Elite chocolate...wasnt a big fan of the taste
Currently using Freak Fix choc....Its awesome tasting, kind of hard to mix and gets thick when used in a blender. I usually use the blender cup thing from GNC and that works great.

I picked up a bag of the EAS ProProtien blend (chocolate) in Costco the other day. I think it was about $30 for a 6 lb bag. I actually enjoy it. I think it mixes fine in water or milk. I prefer water. I use about 8 oz's of water and two scoops and stir like crazy with butter knife. I understand that you get what you pay for though and just live with that until better times come.

digging through the bag to find the scoop was fun. I remember from years ago to save the scoop from the empty container until you dug down to the new scoop in the new container.

Anyone had any good results with a Blender Bottle

A shaker cup with a solid ball that blends the ingredients same as an electric blender (supposedly)

They're great but you need to put the ball in last. If you don't it gets clogged up with powder. Definitely recommended

    Default Prolab Whey Protein

Too much sweetener in this for me. Had the chocolate one, tasted OK but just a bit too sweet.

    6/10

Gone back to ON Gold Standard Double Chocolate.

Have you tried the muscle gauge protein?
A home gym consisting of Bowflex Power-Pro XTL and power blocks(5-90). Also been working out consistently at a community center-JCC since November of 2014. Nice to have the home gym to fall back on off days.

A home gym consisting of Bowflex Power-Pro XTL and power blocks(5-90). Also been working out consistently at a community center-JCC since November of 2014. Nice to have the home gym to fall back on off days.
