Default Keep Track Of Threads Easily - How To Use Subscriptions

The Muscle and Strength Forum is growing quickly! At the moment, we're doing more than 500 posts per day! So here's an easy way to keep up with threads you're interested in:

This forum software supports subscriptions. You can easily subscribe to any thread on the forum. To subscribe to a thread, click the "Thread Tools" drop down at the top of each thread and click "Subscribe". You will then be presented with 4 options on how you want to be notified when someone posts in that thread.

    - No email notification
    - Instant email notification
    - Daily updates by email
    - Weekly update by email

You can choose whatever suits you. To view your subscribed threads that have new posts you just have to click the "User CP" link on the top left hand side of the screen.

To unsubscribe to a thread, just load the thread up, click the "Thread Tools" drop down and select "Unsubscribe". That's it!

This is very handy as the forum grows and it gets harder to keep up with threads. I use it for supplement logs I want to follow, and threads I want to know instantly when someone posts like the product requests thread for example.

Any questions about subscriptions let me know. Enjoy!

I thnk the newer version of vbulletin has a great feature for seeing all your posts in a list. Seen it on some other forums and it makes staying on top of threads a breeze. Though I imagine going to version 4 would be a big pain.

Ah, sorry I meant it lists by "thread" so you can see which have new posts. Keeps people on the site longer

Also an easier way to see your (or anyone elses posts) is to click their or your name in a thread and choose 'Find more posts by xxxx'

Great great great forum though. So much great info. Not trying to complain

Hi, took me ages to get used to this version

What I do is click on "New posts" at the top of the page, a full list of new posts is then visible. you can find all posts any person has made by going into the particular persons profile

I think everyone (who's not completely new) does it this way, took me a couple of weeks to see the "new post" button at the top thoughIt works much better
The difference between failure and success is, doing something nearly right, and doing something exactly right!!!
