I think it is great that we can show others by points given that they are doing a great job. I will definitely use this when I see someone give excellent tips.

    Great post!

We love to hear ''thanks'' from ''beginners''.
I get mail everyday about people how thankful they are, for helping them out... It's a small thing to do and it gives us more joy to bring more advice

Simply needed to pause for a moment to disclose to you that your recommendation has truly helped me. Much obliged to you such a great amount for setting aside the opportunity to converse with me, I can't disclose to you the amount I value it.

Thanks for the sweet reminder on how to use rep + - to this forum. First, I was looking at the *rep +* in just a minute or two I finally found it.

If you want to give acknowlegment for someone helping you out then please add to their reputation on the forum...(you never know, you will be there one day also giving the advice)

To add to someone's reputation, you will click the graphic at the bottom left hand corner of each post. When you click this cross you will be given the option to approve (add reputation) or disapprove (deduct reputation) the post that the member just made. It also gives you a chance to leave a comment.

Reputations come with rules. You only get a certain number of points each day, so use them only for the best postings and responses. Right now, this is 6 times per day that points can be given.

There is reputation POWER. Power is the number of points you give each time. This starts at 1 point, but increases based on a number of criteria such as posts, tenure, and your own reputation. When you give negative points, they are at half of your power level.

I encourage everyone to start using this system so the people in this forum that help others out and post quality info can stand out as excellent forum contributors.
I'm new here. I'll take this advice.
