this is not exactly related to your post expat, but i don't know if they;d let you but why not have your own sports specific, namely boxing, routine? there's football, baserball, and power lifting. i realize that it's alot more in depth and mabey that would make it too hard to accomplish, but i think alot of people would like a routine like that. you get all kinds of good feedback on some of your other in depth routines for certain body parts, why not put them together and set up your own routine. i just think it's a good idea and i thought i'd put it out there

The devil is in the complexity of the sport. Boxing requires everything from every part of your body. A complete routine would be enormous so I am working on it piece by piece just as I implement it with my boxers as they progress or display a weakness. There is no set routine for a boxer in training. I modify, add, cut all sorts of different minor routines as each fighter needs right then. But so long as I have the time I will continue to post up different minor ones that people can use if they are looking to increase muscular endurance.

    3. Stand in front of a normal chair (one on wheels to increase difficulty), holding a 5kg medicine ball at arms length, shoulder height, with arms parallel to the floor throughout, place one foot on the chair. Squat down half-way and explode up, keeping the back foot on the chair and arms parallel to the floor, repeat without resting. Alternate legs and do four 6 minute rounds with 30 second rest intervals.

Is it just me or does this sound a bit Dangerous if you were to add wheels? I have this feeling that if you lose balance the chair would plunge forward, my leg would be caught, the medicine ball would bring me down, I'd pull my hamstring or possibly fall into a split with one leg elevated and getting hyper extended.

Aye, if you are not coordinated and not ready for an advanced routine, do NOT do this. The wheeled chair is done to maintain total control once you have some of the strength and endurance required to do this at a basic level.

I see your little thing under your name says "Just Started" so any of the boxing workouts I am posting up would be inappropriate for you. These are all for people interested in increasing endurance AFTER they have been consistently training for 12 months and have a sound fitness level to begin.
