    Lightbulb Customer Loyalty Incentive

Given the nature of the supplement sales/industry, I would suspect that a "customer loyalty incentive" might be a viable marketing option? Not sure what the specifics might be, but say, something akin to cumulative points per dollar spent, or something akin to the local coffee shops' "stamp/punch card," where you get a free [something] for every X number of orders, etc. Thoughts?

yeah, that doesn't separate from the other sites. I was more suggesting something that facilitates a longer term commitment rather than from one order to the next.

Yeah we have been tossing around the idea of a rewards scheme for a while now. Still looking over the details for it and how we could implement it

If it did ever come out, would previous purchases count or just new ones?

You have to remember that customer loyalty rewards have to be paid for by the customer somewhere down the line, most supplement companies already give greatly reduced prices, so if they give a loyalty discount as well then you will have to pay. Best way is to accept the reduced prices "all the time". When selling products you have the price you pay for all your products, then added to that is your total overheads, then whatever profit margin you put on top to cover your company profit, the firm wont go lower in prices that the profit margin they are selling at. so you pay in the end, just decide how you want to pay, reduced prices or rewards...

I'm happy with just the considerably cheaper supplements "All the time" Don't really see the need for any "Reward" schemes if we have to pay for it sometime anyway lol.

Quite right mate, loyalty reward schemes, sales, free gifts are all marketing hype that the companies apply but customers still pays the required profit margin of the company anyway.

Ya Wyomian's got a good idea, but I understand if it's too much, and besides your supps are cheap anyway!

This is exactly why we haven't got anything going now. Selling supps online has very thin margins, so it's hard to cost something like this is in. It's a good idea in theory, but costing it in would be difficult. So we'll see what we can do in future
