    Deadlift: 435 x 15 reps over 10 minutes
    Incline BB Bench: 180 x 5, 5, 4

    Highlights from 9/5-9/8
    **Despite having 3 stitches in my right ring finger (grip side), I manned up and found workaround without hindering finger recovery. Unfortunately no heavy deads until I get the stitches out on Friday, but I was able to perform deadlift variations. Check out the highlights below**

    Flat Bench: 210 x 6, 5, 5 -> increase to 215

    Snatch Grip DL: 280 x 9, 8, 8 -> increase to 285

    Back Squat: 270 x 5, 5, 5 -> increase to 275; finally found a good head position and stance that prevents my hips from rising too quickly; next time I’ll snap a vid

    RDL (starting from a deficit): 250 x 12, 11, 10, 9 -> increase to 255

    Glute Bridge: 255 x 10, 9, 10

    Incline BB Bench: 185 x 6, 5, 5 -> increase to 190

    Note: BW is also moving too. Weighing in at ~174.5-176 depending on the morning. The scale hasn’t moved much but hey at least it’s in the right direction

    In the process of drying dishes after lunch on Monday I was drying my bigger prep knife with a towel (sliding along both flat parts to increase drying speed) and the blade was facing in instead of out and my finger got in the way and I sliced it pretty bad. It looked worse than it ft because tips of fingers bleed heavily due to all the capillaries gathering there. Three stitches which will hopefully come out on Friday. Healing is progressing nicely

    9/13 Update – Was only able to get in 2 workouts since my last update (which is way lower than my average haha, but the work around the stitches was successful).

    Life Highlights
    -Went to a Brazilian Steakhouse (re: all you can eat bacon wrapped chicken and filet mignon)
    -Got my stitches removed
    -Getting a Sports Massage tomorrow (longggg overdue)

    Standing OHD Press: 130 x 4, 4, 4, 4 -> -1 rep on the first two sets over last session but I added a 4th set to make up for it

    Standing BHTNP (bar starts and ends on traps): 95 x 8, 8, 6

    CGBP: 155 x 12, 10, 8, 10 -> increase to 160

    Front Squat: 240 x 5, 4, 4 -> +5lbs and -2 reps over last front squat

    Wide Stance Hack Squat Machine (plate loaded): 125 x 11, 10, 10, 11 -> increase to 130

    Bench: 215 x 5.5, 4, 4 -> +5lbs over last workout and -3 reps but all the right muscles were firing

    Dips: bw+55 x 12, 10, 9, 8 -> +3 reps

    Pull-ups, Chest Supported Rows, Incline DB Bench, Alt DB Curls, and Upper/mid back posture work

    9/15: Lower Body
    Deadlift
    Heavy single: 500 x miss -> didn’t lock it out
    10 minutes of singles: 435 x 17 -> +2 reps over last session; increase to 440
    Snatch Grip DL: 285 x 9, 8, 8 -> +5lbs and rep match over last session
    Leg Press:
    5pps x 10, 10, 10, 10 -> +.25pps over last session
    3pps x 20
    Single Leg Curl: 55 x 11, 10, 9, 8 -> +5lbs over last session

    It's going man, moved about 5 hours away, engaged, new teaching job, kid on the way in December. I got really into it last year, then life started to happen. Getting back into it after about 5 months.
