    Default smashed finger

like an idoit, i wasn't paying attention while nailing up a board in the garage while yelling at the dog to get back in the yard and BAM, i smashed my finger. it wasn't a normal hammer hit like when you just hit the finger and it's flush against the board, the tip of my finger was on the board and i hit it higher up bending the finger while smashing it. now my finger is swollen and i can't bend it much, FU%K!!!! now no lifting till i can make it better, not even considered an injury but it's preventing me from lifting for at least today, going to do legs, not sure if i can squat but i think i can, but diffenetly no shoulders, stupid me and stupid dog

Sorry to hear that bro. Of course I'm laughing my A$$ off but that sounds like it hurts. I just pictured Homer Simpson when he hit himself with the hammer. Ice it bro and you should probably get it checked out, you might have broken it. Stay strong- you'll get through this lol

Lol with the Homer Simpson impersonation.

May want to get a bucket and fill it with water and drop ice into it so its good and cold and dip your hand in and hold it under the water for 1-5 mins when its outside of the ice bath you should wrap it with a small ace bandage. Wait a couple of days till the swelling goes down and maybe the pain. You may be able to acquire a metal splint to hold your finger in position to prevent further trauma (emergency room some pharmacies may supply them as well).

Report back in a few days and let us know how it feels.

Lol gutted mate! Hope it's nothing too serious! Nothing wrong with concentrating on legs for a few weeks if it's bad though!
