    So Dunkin Donut Review:

    Chips Ahoy! Crunch Donut.
Tastes like a regular chocolate fried cake with crushed up chips ahoy cookies. The cookie pieces are not very crunchy, more on the softer side (like they are fresh baked out of the oven) but compliment the chocolate frosting well.

The Donut is pretty soft, not very doughy like a mom and pop place would make them. A bit better than Krispy Kreme (basically frosted and very light airy sugar donut) but has more texture, density and flavor.

If i had to rank donuts (just off my first one from DD) i would say DD > Krispy Kreme, but does not beat a small mom and pop place that makes the real deal.

Cream Filled Chips Ahoy Crunch tomorrow.

fair review. Dunkin Donuts aren't a bad choice. I'd probably take them over Krispy Kreme.
a lot of people love their coffee. I'm not a fan of DD coffee. I may just be a bit of a snob, but I like a bold, strong, full flavor coffee. Dunkin, McDonalds, 711; all seem to be pretty watered down and they want to drown you with creamer.
black Starbucks coffee is pretty tasty, but too expensive (for coffee). Here on the east coast, Wawa (a type of convenience store) has pretty good coffee for a reasonable cost

Maybe it's the DD's around here, but their donuts usually taste stale to me. Always.

I'd have to go with KK over DD, but like Bob said, you can't beat a mom/pop shop...

Which we have none of in Cola.

I have to vote for KK over DD as well. But given a choice, I would prefer Shipley's ( they were big in Texas when I lived there )

and I am from / live in Florence - the DD there always has stale donuts too. Maybe SC just gets the rejects? ha ha

    Agree with DD over Kk
Krispy is very light , airy and has no real dough texture to the donuts it's like a light sugar bomb
DD is doughy and has decent texture and flavor

    question:
    .
So Married couples.... if you have a friend that tells you a secret, do you go home and tell your spouse??? Some married couples have the "we have no secrets" rule...
I have mixed feelings about it...
I don't think married couples should keep secrets from one another, but on the other hand, if I tell my friend something, I don't want her running home and telling her husband over dinner either...

I just know, that once I found out that certain couples shared everything with eachother, I didn't share secrets to that friend anymore...

IF it may affect you or your spouse, in any way - tell him........ IF NOT - then it is a judgement call. Generally speaking, secrets are never good in a marriage. IMHO

Not telling your spouse every little conversation and thing you share with friend(s) isn't keeping a secret. Your spouse might not be interested either. It's only "keeping a secret" if your spouse is actively interested in this person or the situation, and then you lie to them and tell them you don't know.

I don't think "lies of omission" really count with a lot of conversations. Then again, it does depend on what type of relationship you have with your spouse, and with your friends.

Jelly filled were my favorites as a kid. I like the creme filled ones too, but my hubs thinks they're gross. No donuts in our household.

I am all about a powdered sugar jelly donut. If I could eat those all the time and not gain weight I'd keep them stocked at all times.

Hit up Mad Mex first time ever, just opened a store here in Erie.
Waitress was a girl looking to get into competing (Figure) was real cool an laid back and ended up buying our appetizer after me and my buddy (from the gym) went for a cheat meal.

    Can't beat that.

ate way too much but was not bad for a chain mexican restaurant:
