    Ridiculous to say the least.
Gorilla was killed where the kid made the mistake of jumping over the railing in the Cincy Zoo
He even told his mom he was joking about going into the water with the gorilla.
So the parents should be the one blamed for not taking care of their kid, yet the gorilla is put to rest

There is a picture in the newspapers here in the UK of the parents with the child, definitely not diet conscious

And apparently the Father has previously been in prison in 2006, and has previous convictions over the last ten years for burglary, firearms offences, drug trafficking, trespass and kidnap

According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, Alexandria Vera, 24, turned herself in to officials in Conroe Wednesday morning, June 1, 2016. She is accused in Harris County of the continuous sexual abuse of a child, a former student of hers at an Aldine Independent School District middle school.

Alexandria Vera, the Aldine school district middle school teacher accused of having a long-term sexual relationship with an underage student, has turned herself into law enforcement, according to officials.
Vera, 24, had been wanted by officials since May 27 on a charge of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office she turned herself in Wednesday morning in Conroe and was undergoing booking. She was accompanied by a bonding agent.

The complaint against Vera is filed in Harris County's 209th State District Court. Documents in the case centering on the relationship between Vera and a 14-year-old boy allege that the two met when he was a student of hers in summer school last year at Stovall Middle School.
The pair's relationship apparently had the blessing of the boy's family, according to court documents.

Vandy Pitcher Dies in Drowning Accident

    http://www.tennessean.com/story/spor...ning/85330776/

Vanderbilt freshman pitcher Donny Everett died Thursday night in a drowning accident, the school announced Friday. He was 19.

According to the Coffee County (Tennessee) Sheriff's Department, dispatchers sent a deputy and an ambulance to Normandy Lake just before 5 p.m. Thursday after receiving reports of a "subject that had gone underwater."

Coach Tim Corbin told players and coaches of Everett's death on Thursday night, according to The Tennessean.

"We learned last night of the tragic death of Donny Everett, an outstanding young man who exemplified the best of our university," Vanderbilt athletic director David Williams said Friday. "As you can imagine, the team, the athletic department and the university are trying to come to terms with this tragedy. His parents and loved ones are on our minds and in our prayers as we share in their grief."

Johnny Manziel sued for damages to L.A. rental home

Former Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel has been sued for causing "extensive damage" to a Los Angeles home he rented in April, according to the attorney representing the owner of the property.

Attorney Niki Ghazian, representing Nicholas Goodwin of The Goodwin Group Inc., said her client is seeking more than $40,000, according to TMZ. The lawyer said the suit was filed in the Central District of the Los Angeles Superior Court.

Goodwin alleges Manziel, who stayed at the property April 4-6, agreed to assurances that the property was to be used strictly for his own personal and private use, and agreed to pay a $10,000 fine if more than 15 people came to the house at one time.

    Mass Shooting in Orlando:

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/12/us/orl...club-shooting/

Police: 20 feared dead after Florida nightclub terror attack
Orlando, Florida (CNN)Approximately 20 people are dead inside Pulse, a gay nightclub, Orlando Police Chief John Mina said Sunday morning, just hours after a shooter opened fire in the club. At least 42 people have been transported for medical treatment, he said.

Police have shot and killed the gunman, Mina told reporters.
"It's appears he was organized and well-prepared," the chief said, adding that the shooter had an assault-type weapon, a handgun and "some type of (other) device on him." Law enforcement sources told CNN that the device, which was strapped to the suspect, was possibly explosive, but authorities don't know if it was real or not.

DALLAS -- Police in Dallas say troubled quarterback Johnny Manziel reported a hit-and-run collision earlier this week.

Senior Cpl. DeMarquis Black told The Associated Press that the crash happened Monday night, and Manziel had a witness from his vehicle and an impartial witness. Manziel attorney Bob Hinton said police told him the vehicle was damaged on the driver's side.

Chipotle launches rewards program to bring back customers

    http://www.cnbc.com/2016/06/27/chipo...customers.html

Burrito chain Chipotle Mexican Grill said it will launch a limited-period loyalty program, betting on a strategy it had previously shunned, to lure back customers after a string of food safety lapses last year.

The three-month long program, called "Chiptopia," is part of the company's plan to create its first-ever permanent loyalty program.

"We created Chiptopia to reward our most loyal customers," Mark Crumpacker, chief creative and development officer at Chipotle, said on Monday.

"While Chiptopia Summer Rewards lasts just three months, we will be carefully listening to our customers and using what we learn as we consider the design of an ongoing rewards program."

The company will roll out "Chiptopia" on July 1.

    Pat Summit Passes Away

    http://espn.go.com/womens-college-ba...ch-pat-summitt

The lanky Tennessee farm girl they nicknamed "Bone" grew to heights that no one could have anticipated. She traveled the world, became a kind of surrogate mom to hundreds of daughters and helped fundamentally change collegiate athletics.

She was born on Flag Day, June 14, 1952, and personified the American Dream. Like most iconic figures, she inspired an almost mythical kind of devotion. But how could someone be so larger-than-life magnificent and yet so humbly warm and real?

That was the essence of Pat Summitt, the longtime Tennessee women's basketball coach who died Tuesday morning at age 64, nearly five years after making public her diagnosis of early-onset dementia, Alzheimer's type.

    Summitt inspired a generation
Pat Summitt brought respect to women's college basketball and made young players -- even those who weren't good enough to suit up for the Lady Vols -- want to be the best.

    Summitt's 10 greatest coaching moments
How do you attempt to quantify an unquantifiable legend who had a career full of countless successes? Here's one take on the top 10 moments of Summitt's storied coaching career.
    Photos: Pat Summitt retrospective
Pat Summitt won 1,098 games and eight championships in 38 seasons at Tennessee, but her fight touched lives well beyond basketball.

To say there will never be anyone else like Summitt is not hyperbole. On the contrary, it seems inadequate. She won eight NCAA titles and went 1,098-208 in 38 seasons as coach at Tennessee. She was one of the most accomplished and influential figures in the history of women's sports, but also was universally respected and beloved.

Manziel to go sober starting Friday:

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-sober-friday/

Maybe Johnny Manziel is taking seriously all the good advice people keep giving him to clean up his act.

At least he says he plans to, after this one sweet kegger he’s throwing in Mexico.

Manziel told TMZ that he’s “going completely sober starting July 1st.”

Of course, that gives him between now and Friday to get it all out of his system, and it seems like plenty of people with him aren’t taking the same pledge. TMZ has photos of a woman holding what appears to be an illicit substance, but Manziel said the drugs weren’t his and he didn’t know who the woman was.

    http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/28/us/sou...hool-shooting/

wo children and a teacher were shot at an elementary school playground in Townville, South Carolina, an official with Anderson County Emergency Services told reporters.

The suspected shooter, a teenager, is in custody, deputy chief Taylor Jones said.
The father of the suspected shooter was found dead of a gunshot wound, Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore told reporters. Shore identified the man as Jeffrey Osborne, 47. The house is about 2 miles from the school.
Wednesday afternoon, the three victims at the school were struck by bullets from a handgun, Capt. Garland Major of the Anderson County Sheriff's Office said. One male student was hit in a leg and another boy was struck in a foot. The female teacher was wounded in a shoulder, Major said.
