    Default Fasting

First off, at the beginning of August i tore a ligament in my shoulder which was supposed to put me out of weight lifting for 2-3 weeks. 3 weeks passed and my shoulder is still messed up. Regardless of that now the month of Ramadan has started. Those who are unfamiliar with Ramadan, its a month of fasting. Sunrise to sunset everyday for 30 days. I eat around 4 am before the fast starts and break it around 830 pm.

What should i be eating? should i train at all? how will this effect my physique? i've already lost quite a bit of muscle from my shoulder injury.

I'm sure some of the vets will help you fine tune this, but you should look into a good casein protein right before the fasting period.

I don't know if this really is a good idea or not, but I think it's worth mentioning.

For this idea you need time, effort, a 24 hour gym, and determination. It depends how much you seriously want it I guess because sorry to break it to you guys...a month without a proper diet/training will cause you to lose muscle unfortunatly...but on the other hand muscle memory will help you recover what you lost in a much quicker time.

Ok, heres my wild idea lmao!

For starters depending on where you live and what you do, if your a student you should now be on summer break. If this is the case, then you could say sleep some during the day time, your metabolism slows right down therefore it would be a cracking idea if you take a casien suppliment with milk, casien is a slow digesting protien and if mixed with milk, even longer! take it before sunrise, sleep until you wake up, wait until sunset and then eat what would be your first meal of the day even if you werent on your fasting and continue eating asif you would throughout the day time, except it would be night time.
If you have access to a 24 hr gym, happy days! if you dont, invest in a set of cheap **** dumbells and start the home workout for a month.

Wild idea, but an idea and if your totally commited and serious about body building and your itching to not lose that muscle then it's an idea worth considering.

(Probably one of my stupidest posts but, im bored ;< )

thanks danny, but school starts on tuesday i have to get in synch with the school year now unfortunately. Also i can't weight lift haha my arm is still screwed up.

I think im jsut going to take the whole month off. Might be a good way to let my shoulder fully recover.
