    Default Can't train legs!!!

Hi! I know how really important leg training is and it is my favourite muscle to work but, my hockey season is started and I play 4-5 times per week. So if I train legs, they are too sore and I need to be in perfect conditions when I play! So, anyone have idea of a way to train legs a little but not be too sore?

    Thanks!

Since your doing hockey I'd suggest doing some plyometric exercises instead of heavy lifting.

Additionally this will add explosiveness to your speed when skating.

Yeah I understand but I would like more like weightlifting exercices because i train to be a bodybuilder. My training is not for hockey. I've already done plyometric but i dont like it.

Well, here's the thing I personally think you should do. Train for hockey during the pre season and during the season. And once it's over, go back to BB. I have to deal with the same kind of thing, except with a different sport so I can understand your thoughts.
