Whey Powder Expiration?

Does whey powder expire? I had to stop using it for personal (medical) reasons and now can use it and still have 3/4 of a ten lb. box. I know its not spoiled or anything but is it still going to work? thanks.

it does have an experation date but it is from what a remember at least a year (or 2?) It should be on the box someplace. I know it lasts pretty long though as long as it is sealed and out of the sun / heat..

Not sure what happens to it when it hits the experation date though..
