Default dougs exercising with back pain

Does any one know if those back exercises are to be done everyday or ever other day. My lower back is weak because I avoid doing. Im mainly afraid to hurt it again. So I need to streangthen it up. I have been doing abs 3 times a week 3 set 50 reps. Normal crunch, reverse crunch and side crunch. If anybody has any ideas feel free. Thanks

Light work "every" day will increase basic back strength, once you have gained some basic strength in the back then you can gradually introduce weighted exercises

Post why you got hurt, where, when it bothers you, doing exercise or other times, what increases or decreases your discomfort. Then we can point you in the right direction.
A home gym consisting of Bowflex Power-Pro XTL and power blocks(5-90). Also been working out consistently at a community center-JCC since November of 2014. Nice to have the home gym to fall back on off days.
