    Default Questions on some of the advanced workouts from the workouts section

    I was wondering, for example the chest workout, http://www.muscleandstrength.com/wor...t-workout.html, do the drop sets that can be seen in week 4 for dumbbell bench presses and cable crossovers (4 drops) apply for every set or just the last?

    I know all the superset's will be expected to be done on every set, at least I think I know this, but wasn't sure about the drops, as the one in the chest section above is ridiculously hard, 4 sets of 3/4 drops in each set for dumbbell bench press. Don't want to overtrain on this as they are allready advanced workouts.

    Using lighter weights, you should be doing all four sets in one go.

    Ex: 90lbs bench. 4x12, drop weight, 4x12, drop weight, and repeat until you've finished the four sets.

    Just be sure not to train to failure if you can't manage the number of reps.

    ^^Spot on. However, I think if you've hit a plateau at 1-2 years of training you must be doing something wrong.
