    Default Fatigue

I know when lifting, to build muscle you want the 8th-10th rep to become a struggle. But what if that only applies to the first two sets, and the 3rd n 4th you can barely get 5-6 reps? Is it best to lower the weight, or do you just allow your muscles to fatigue out early?

You should use a weight heavy enough to just allow you to complete the required reps in a set.
If you cannot do this in any of the sets, then it is time to adjust the weight so you can.
This may very well mean dropping back the weight so you can follow the principal.

Quality is far more important than quantity for muscle size.
    Consistency is the key
