Default When should I weigh myself?

I have a question on when should be a good time to weigh myself.
I weigh myself at the gym be4 my workout and after.

Should i weigh myself to see how much i weigh with empty stomach?
because sometimes, I am 168lb one day and the next day, i'm 175lb. does that have to do with the weight of the food in my system? water weight?

When is a good time to weigh myself to see how much i really weigh?

generally immediately after waking, after going to the bathroom.

the varying weights deal with the amount of food consumed during the day etc. and can vary quite wildly during the day.

As delaroche said only weigh yourself in the morning, you can vary up to 5lb per day. The only people who need to weigh themselves before and after training are the endurance athletes, who lose a lot of fluid through sweat, and so have to take 1.5 pts of water per pound of weight lost through exercies.
