I eat 4-5 small meals a day( do to me being 16 and still in school its hard to eat 5-6 small meals) I weight train 5 days a week and run 5-6 days a week. There is no point weight training aswell really but anyway.

Use the BMR calculator located in the tools section to learn how many calouries you should be eating (subtract 500 to the calories it gives you)

^^x2...please elaborate; since it's more sensible in terms of fat loss to maintain the muscle tissue with resistance training whilst simultaneously engaging in aerobic activity and studies back this up.

Exactly! how can it ever be a bad idea to lift weights? the calorie burn is great an from what i read continues long after workout, your gonna gain strength and especially as hes new to the game he may well gain some musce whilst he cuts fat! He's getting his body used to weight training for when he bulks (assuming he wants to) and above all else......

    Its fun!!!!

btw i'd have repped you too for your continual solid knowledgeable post but I gotta 'spread it round' apparently haha!

more muscle you build the more calories you burn,so i agree with harvey to continue his weight training to lose that weight and keep it off because surely he is doing a good job

yea man theres no reason not to, expect to put 2-5 pounds on in the first week of taking it tho and dont let that discourage the cut!

the extra weight is just water retention not fat!

for some reason i tend to cycle off creatine during cuts but thats not backed up by anything other than personal preference!

just eat clean, and eat lots of salads, avoid eating if your bored, i used the wii fit and lost 50kg on it, just if your hungry eat salad, do push ups and sit ups etc, it help to keep you in slight shape thoughout the weight loss. Good luck
