    Does anyone ever give out rep-? I have thought about but a, I don't want it to be like "hey you gave me a negetive rep, I'm going to give you one back". Also if I gave a rep-, would i be being to much of an A$$hole?

    Rep- are more for people who give out info that can be dangerous or cause injury... things like that. If its just "he doesnt know what hes talking about", then inform him and dont give him any rep+.

    Very rarely I get told you can't give someone rep you need to share it around.

    How does this work, is it because I have given them rep in the last x hours or days?

    Or is it that I given them rep in my last X rep awards? ie only every 5 reps can go to the same person or something.
