    great article

I started taking a multi-vitamin / minerals complex because I was tired all the time, fighting not to fall asleep when I just woke up and thought it could be a vitamin deficiency.

I havent' had a bloodsample made, but I started taking these pills as an "ensurance policy" as you mention, and I haven't felt like that since then. Now I really feel active and have no problem getting through the day.

Nice one...People dont realise the importance of taking vitamins and minerals. Foods that we get now comes from mineral depleted soils or have the vitamin/mineral content taken out of the foods by processing.

Vitamins and minerals are very important aspects of a balanced diet. Getting all the vitamins and minerals your body needs can be difficult. It is essential that you get these vitamins or minerals because over time the defficiency can lead to moderate or serious discomfort, or a life threatening illness.Vitamins are defined as any of relatively complex organic substances occurring naturally in plant and animal tissue and essential in small amounts for metabolic processes. There are thirteen major vitamins. The fat solube vitamins are A, D, E, and K, which are stored in fat deposits located in the body.Water soluble vitamins are necessary in processing other enzymes and vitamins or catalysts. There vitamins are B1, B2, B3, B6, B12, Biotin, Folate, Pantothenic Acid, and vitamin C.Minerals are defined as inorganic minerals required in the building of hard and soft body tissue and participating in other various functions. Minerals in the body are either major elements or trace elements. Click here to get a description of each mineral.

If you cant afford a good multi-vit/mineral then make sure the diet is spot on, or use a cheaper version, but the quality wont be the same
