Default Need substitute for EZ Bar curl

I'm doing Doug's 4 day cutting routine, and my gym doesn't have an EZ bar. What can I use as a sub? My gym has smith machines, dumbbells, and regular machines, no barbells

    Thanks!

Any cable machines? You could do cable curls. Or any variation of dumbell curls. I like pinwheels as they stop my forearms from getting mashed up.

Cable curls are great, but if your looking for an isolation exercise, why not try two different exercises? Try the cable curls once. And then, later in the week, try something like incline dumbbell curls or hammer curls. Dumbells can feel great to work out with.

What does your routine look like? How many days a week are you training each body part?

In terms of effect on the bicep,EZ bar is no better than the regular bar.
The only reason one may prefer it is to avoid chronic wrist pain, since it offers a supinated grip, hence it lessens the stress on the wrist.

Now, if you want to copy that movement, you may do the bicep rope curl.
