    Default Six pack abs!

Hello everyone! I've been training like 7-8 months now and. And overall i see good results besides my abs. I am doing fullbody workouts, gonna start with doug's 4-split workout next week hoping to see much better results! But here is the thing, i have low body fat, or i think so not many. Not fat at all, maybe even a bit skinny. But i just cant get my abs. I only got 1 month left till summer is over and school begins. And i want really ripped abs! Has somebody got any pro workout or routine for me. I don't care about the pain or anything or how many it is i am expierienced. And + it's not like im starting like from the begin, i have a little abs! and worked out alot. And some excercised i don't feel a burn at all like every leg raises excersice i don't feel anything not just a bit. I could do 100 but just get tired! So if anyone has a pro routine abs workout comment! Just got 1 month.

It doesnt matter how 'skinny' you get mate, you have to train the abs the same as every oher muscle - with resistence !!! You sound like you are a low bf anyway, so you need to eat more and build muscle. There are endless threads on abs/people wanting to get cut, but unfortunately one thing is normally common, the people that want to get cut, have abs etc... just dont have enough musculature to ever loook cut/ripped etc... that is achieved by having fair size muscles AND a low bf%. One or the other will never give you the body you are looking for. Get on D4DS (the ab routines in there are plenty for you to achieve a good six pack if done correctly) and start eating good quality food and you will be fine. do a clean bulk (bulking doesnt mean you have to get fat) and you will see the results, but unfortunately there is not a 1 month fix to a six pack, pro or amateur ariund mate, no matter what the muscle mags.infomercials tell you, it is just cionsistent hard work and patience

    hope this helps

Have you worked the abs with resitence, ie weighted rope crunches, weighted hanging leg raises or do you primarily just do lots of reps ???

Tats your problem then mate The abs are like the rest of your muscles, they need resistence to grow. If they arent large enough then it doesnt matter how low your bf% becomes then you wont have a six pack. Same as with your chest buddy, you wouldnt even imagine doing 100 reps of 5kg to build your chest so why would you expect it to work on your abs ? Some people have genetically large abs so when the body fat goes they have a six pack, some people dont. If you want the abs to GROW then stop doing loads of reps and do 3 exercises twice a week for 8-12 reps with a heavy weight so that you can just comple the reps with good form, same as you would for the chest, arm etc... Make sure the form is good so it actually the abs that are working and not the muscles around it like hip flexors and stuff and you will be fine

Ah okay i see, thank you! Sorry if i'm asking too much! But could you maybe make me a 2 day ab routine? Which would kill your abs, you can put the excersices and the sets and reps. Just if you have time, if you wont i'll be fine.

    No worries mate

you could try this, it is quite advance though

    http://www.muscleandstrength.com/wor...-ab-size-.html

If it is too much then you could try dropping the sets to 2 sets per exercise and seeing how you get on

    hope this helps

Try adding some weight. I didn't feel much with leg raises either until I began adding weight.

check your form, make sure that you are raises the legs with the use of your lower abs, rather than swinging the legs up with the hips. Also doing it with weight will increase the difficulty. If you dont do any lower ab specific exercises then you will end up with the top abs definied but not the lower, which is a common occurence and will lead to the 2 or 4 pack that is quite common.

for hanging leg raises and knee raises hold a weight between your feet/knees. for crunches hold a plate on your chest

Form, is how you're doing/performing the exercise; whether the body is not in good position or too far forward, too far back etc...during an exercise.
