    Default Dumbbell shoulder press

Is it alright to do it with only one arm at a time? I only have one dumbbell at home D:

I'd say it depends on how much weight, whether standing or sitting, and how you're maintaining form...

If that is all you have you do not have much of a choice..any reason for just 1 db?

I'll give you a green signal for it.
However you should hold on to something firm with your other hand while pressing.

do your weaker shoulder first with the free arm holding on to your shoulder.

I would say one at a time is better than 2 if anything.

Also anyone ever seen this exercise done with a full range of motion? Everyone i have ever seen does it from just above this position to a few inches more. The actual distance they move is woeful, the weight on display is always high though.

I'll get to that position on my last 2 reps, but I always go full range of motion.

Yeah it really depends on you and the weight. I do a few different single dumbbell exercises. I have two sets and that's it for weights. I have some dyna-bands but only use those for some back exercises kinda useless, i need to use the whole set to feel anything from them. Unless i do hella reps.
