Nevermind - Rip to the rescue (I can't post links yet, so please remove the spaces):Personally, I find the OHP causes me pain in my back. Not my lower back, (because I sqeeze my glutes, hard, to maintain posture), but a vertebra in about the middle of my back really feels the pinch whenever I do this exercise. The vertebra in question is roughly opposite the upside down V where your ribs meet at the sternum, a little lower than the bottom of the shoulder blades.
I think I am leaning back a bit from the middle of my spine, but I can't seem to stop myself from doing this. I think my chest is trying to get more involved (i.e. my body is trying to do an "Olympic Press").
Does anyone have any pointers to prevent this?

Hi,
If you can’t press the bar overhead, lower it back on your chest and put it on the floor like in the above overhead press video. You will never find yourself stuck under the bar like with the bench press. Like with any barbell exercise, you will have problems finding balance the first time you try to overhead press. Start light, focus on your technique and add weight progressively. I think this will definitely help you.
Great thanks a lots to share it .
