    Default lose fat not muscle?

    prior to xmas hols I had made some nice wee muscle gains, but then over the hols i put on some fat, mainly round my gut. How could I lose this without losing the gains I had previously made?

    Keep your volume low, and make sure you get adequate protein (.8g-1g/lb). Switch to a full-body compound movement routine. Something a long the lines of a strength routine. If you do cardio, keep cardio volume low as well. 2x a week @ 30 minute sessions.
