    whats the difference between this and the barbell for bicep curls?

    I read somewhere (i think it was an article by Mark Rippetoe) that you get a better contraction in your biceps using a straight bar.
    Stats: Bench- 315, Squat- 440, Deadlift- 530, 6'4", 215lbs
    Goals by end of year: Bench- 365, Squat- 500, Deadlift- 600, 6'4", 230lbs
