Yeah probably. Im not sure what else you want people to say. You havent given any details.
Also with neck and back pain, its best to see a doctor.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

yes see a doctor its could be just simple like you're doing some worng exercises or a hernia
I had the same problem
Be extra careful during shoulder exercise like presses, shrugs Dont move ur head
On deadlift look straight bt dont pull your head too much
Hope it helps

wht bout a rep?
stretch before and after a workout and with almost all excersizes you don't activate your neck except traps. like spartigus said, more info, and if it's a dull muscle pain, lay off for a week and stretch everday and it will get better quick. if you are looking to strengthen your neck to avoid this in the future then google "neck bridges" and you'll see plenty of vids, and articles about these. Start slow though but after a bit your neck will be strong as hell and you'll avoid pain. fighters do neck bridges to be able to take hits without passing out so that should tell you something.

You've probably just pulled your Anterior Jaskarn muscle. Try not to do anything to taxing with it, but keep it mobile with some mobility exercises, and you'll be alright.
