    Default Peach's All Things Physical Log

    So now that the transformation contest is over, figured I should start a new log. I was planning on starting workouts today since the school year is practically over, but of course we had one last thing to handle. So tomorrow I'll officially be able to start up and get some good consistent workouts in.

    Honestly not really sure what my "goal" is right now... so I'm just gonna say, short term, is to look fabulous for my beach trip to Cali in about a month lol. After that we'll have to find a new goal

    With any log comes "Starting" picts... so here we go! I'll have to get picts of my monstrous biceps, beastly back, and gargantuan legs this weekend lol

    Have you put the fitness/bikini competition on hold? Thought that was in the plans awhile back..maybe once school ends and things calm down you can figure it all out..fitness, bikini, powerlifter, runner, hurdler, etc etc

    Lol... you know me too well. I've put the fitness/bikini plans on hold because with my new schedule (coaching cross country and not volleyball) in the spring, I'll actually have more time to train. SO I'm once again, playin with the idea of doin some more competing in track. I just can't seem to let it go lol... but It'll depend on if I can get consistent training in. If I can't then I'll probably look more seriously into doing figure (i've decided against bikini for sure). So yeah... i'll be doin somethin competitive, just dont know exactly what yet

    Heavy sigh... super heavy sigh. So let me just start off by saying that it was VERY evident to me today while I was lifting that I've only gotten 3 - 4 workouts in in the past 3 weeks. I felt so weak! But I'm countin on muscle memory to bounce back with a quickness, cuz I'm not fond of feelin weak.

    Hang Clean to Front Squat (Superset with jumping lunges, 4 each leg)
    Warm Up Sets
    2 x 3 x 65 lbs

    Work Sets
    3 x 100 lbs
    3 x 105 lbs
    3 x 110 lbs
    3 x 115 lbs
    3 x 115 lbs

    Ok... so I hit the same weight (115) for one set last week... and yeah I guess I should be happy that I got two sets in this time... but I really really wanted to hit 120 this week. I was bummed

    Bench Press (Superset with Bent Rows)
    Warm Up Set
    8 x 45 lbs

    Work Sets
    4 x 75 lbs
    4 x 80 lbs
    4 x 85 lbs
    4 x 90 lbs
    4 x 100 lbs

    SS Bent Rows
    5 x 4 x 40 lb DB

    I was still frustrated with the hang cleans so I was determined to hit 100 lbs on bench... so HA

    Rope Swings (30 sec each, 10 sec between)
    from the vid I did: Swings, Waves, Grappler Swings... and then a double dutch jump rope type swing... those suckers suck!

    Workout Time: 35 min
