ooook... so today I pulled 3 back to back bone head moves... which has put me in my current physical condition.

    1) Had to go to an unexpected dinner with our boys that competed at state... treated myself to bacon cheese fries and a 6 oz. filet

    2) Came home and less than 20 min after finishing my meal, went on a run... full stomach and everythin

    3) Ran way way faster than I wanted to for my first "longer" run in the last 8 months

    Run Workout
    30 min run, 4.07 miles, 7:25 average pace/mile
(went 1.97 miles out [15 min] which is 7:36 pace, came back 2.07 miles [15 min] which is 7:14 pace)

    Avg HR: 162
    Max HR: 187
    Avg Pace: 7:25/ mile
    Fastest Pace: 6:03/mile
    Total Distance: 4.07
    Cals Burned: 412

Once I got back home... I had an almost immediate leg lock up.. my hamstrings and calves started crampin lol. And now I'm walkin around like i'm 87 years old. Clearly my body forgot what running 30 min at that pace felt like. So on my next run I am bound and determined to back the pace off to 8:00 - 8:30 / mile til my body adapts to running again... we'll see how successful I am with that lol

**FYI I run with a Garmin GPS + HR monitor (strap) that gathers all this information for me

Nothing like jumping back into it both feet first! It's so easy to overdue that first training session after a break. Rest up and try to slow it down, even though an 8 minute mile sounds like sprinting to me,lol.

Nice two workouts Peach, and I'm sure you'll back up to where you want to be soon. I believe if I tried running that fast for further than 50 yards you'd have to call an ambulance .

That pace for 4 miles seems really fast to me Peach. I would be laying on the ground with my legs totally locked up to, but for you, youll be fine in a day. Your body will get used to it. 8-8:30 minutes seems like a good back off and should allow your body to adapt to the running again.

haha yeah, my body has always naturally set it's pace right around 7:30 pace... it seems to be where it always feels the most comfortable running. Anythin slower and I feel awkward, and harder... is just... well... harder lol. But imma try and control my body and force it to back off
