Clearly my body forgot what running 30 min at that pace felt like. So on my next run I am bound and determined to back the pace off to 8:00 - 8:30 / mile til my body adapts to running again... we'll see how successful I am with that lol

    **FYI I run with a Garmin GPS + HR monitor (strap) that gathers all this information for me

    Ok so i'm excited cuz i just got my most recent M&S order which included Scivation Essential EFA pills and ON Amino Energy... both of which i'm startin on today. yay for new stuff! PLUS it's deadlift Friday! woot!

    this is the first EFA type suppliment that I've had... I might check that one out lata

    Scivation makes some solid products. I've also heard that NOW Ultra Omega 3 is top notch in terms of EPA/DHA concentration.

    I've heard mixed reviews about Amino Energy and I'm interested to hear your thoughts. Idk how I feel about the inclusion of caffeine as sometimes I like to take my BCAAs during a night workout, after I've already taken a preworkout. Also, not a big fan of the "propietary blend" on the amino acids in this case, but that's just my $0.02.

    I'll let you know... I would definitely only take it as a pre-workout supp or during the day pick me up... I have the Xtend for recovery/intraworkout supp. And i dont workout late (especially now that we're heading into summer) so i'm not to worried about the caffeine. I'll definitely let you know though

    So in honor of Matty, I'm going to use both green and pink in my log today lol. Had a great lifting session! Tried my ON Amino Energy today, and I'll for sure be taking it from now on!

    Last time I did this (3 weeks ago) 30 lbs killed me, and this week 35 felt really really good..

    Another woot woot yay moment, I've been stuck on 50 lbs for a while... think I could have done 70, but didnt want to push it. And I almost giggled on my last set cuz as I was doing them, I was lookin in the mirror and though "wow my legs are going boom bam pow right now"... translated that means I had a good leg muscle "pump" going on lol.

    Abs
    Oblique Twists

    Med Ball V- Twists 2 x count up 10 then back down 10 w/ 12 lb MB (these suck royally)

    So happy with my workout today, especially after how stinky Monday was. Also had to laugh cuz this older guy (late 40's to 50's) stopped me when I was walkin and told me he's noticed me since I joined and that I work harder than most boys in our gym. He was nice.
