Default Strength Training and Muscle Building Training

Hey guys, I was curious if it would be possible to do strength training on one part of your body, while at the same time doing muscle building training on the rest? In my case, I'm getting pretty close to the point where I think my legs are a perfect size and so I'd like to start just training them for increased strength. At the same time, I'd like to continue muscle building training for my upper body. I was just wondering if this would be possible, or would doing two different types of training have a negative effect? Thanks for the help guys.

You can do maintenance training on your legs, continue training legs but dont increase the weight.

Alright, thanks Doug. One more question for you: is strength training possible on a cutting diet where my caloric intake will only be enough to sustain my current mass, or do you need to have extra calories during strength training periods just like during mass gaining periods to see increases in strength?

Hi, You have to eat more than the body burns off for recovery from the strength training,
