    Smile Pain in bicep tendon

    I've been working out in the gym for 6 months now and have developed a pain in the upper part of the short head bicep tendon in my left arm. The pain is not severe but it is irritating and has stopped me from completing reps. Exercises that trigger the pain the most are the military press and machine chest flys. I've asked others about it but they have no idea what it is. I've been using deep freeze gel for the pain which has helped but I'm wondering whether you guys have ever experienced it and could tell me what it is and also whether I should take some time off the gym and if so how long.

    Hi, if you post your question in the "inuries" section of this website, post your question in there and Yitmy our resident physio will give you more specific advice
