    Cool ahh, I'm out of shape! & hello, also :)

    Hi guys, just wanted to pop by and say hello.

    I suppose I'm apart of the NYE resolution set. I'm a 20 year old gal who's struggled with a pretty horribly to find the happy medium of fit - I'm on the other side of a battle against anorexia where I am able to maintain a lifestyle where I can consume a normal amount of calories daily without hating myself(I still slip up and fall back into my old ways, but nothing like before.) but in the past two years my fitness level has plummeted and even though I have not been literally starving myself day in and out I still haven't been treating my body too nicely - smoking(trying to quit, I'm down to about a pack a month), not getting enough sleep, eating crap.

    Over the past two years as I've gotten to a normal weight and slowly ditched the ED I've become okay with a body that is not 10 lbs underweight, and I've learned to be okay with a body that's normal - I've even learned to like my body. Buuuuut I'm ready to love it, no matter what I'm wearing(or not) - and I'm ready to be fit again, in a way that's sustainable and healthy for me mentally and physically.

    I'm mainly on here to read up on nutrition(pescatarian, well only really cannedtunafishcatarian here), workout tips, and to maintain a personal fitness journal - and maybe a little support when I'm tempted to fall back into ED-related patterns for when that inevitably happens- figure I'd say howdy!

    Welcome to the forum! I hope this site proves helpful to you, would be great to see a log on here from you once you start one.     Welcome, good luck.
    Start lifting weights, then start lifting heavy, I'm no expert on Anorexia, but I've seen a lot of people that ate 1 small meal a day turn their appetites up big time after hitting the iron consistantly over a period of months. :-)
