    Default Help a heffer out

2kgs to shift. Cut my calories I eat around 1600 exercising at least 2hrs daily, eating under 50g carbs, increased cardio but have started weight training (to improve my strength) and am putting on weight.

Can anyone share some tips with me? I have until March 16th!!

Fat loss and Strength is not something you can really do at the same time. To lose fat you need to consume less calories than you take in. To gain muscle you need to consume more calories then you take in to feed you muscle as they grow. I would suggest picking one to go after first then a bit later on doing the other.
1600 does not seem like enough calories to me, for me at least that is thd amount maintain with. Check out the calculator on this site to find the calories you need to gain muscle and strength.

    Thanks guys.

I did use the calculator, it said 1800 which is more than I currently consume. However, upon trying this I gained the wait I'm now attempting to lose having cut back down to 1600.

    Thank you for the advice.

Are you looking better in the mirror or worse? If your putting on muscle then who cares about scale weight. If your storing more fat then increase cals or give yourself a carb up day in the week.
