    Well this is quite a treat! Hard work leading to awesomeness,wooh!

    Way up there on the first page,somewhere,Jmama mentioned doing squats first.I agree,those big bad barbell movements need to be done when your fresh! Do them squats in the 8-15 rep range and everything else will be icing on the cake! You got this!

    So.. today was a half workout. I didn't make it yesterday due to being sick and I feel fine today. But when it came to lifting, I felt so weak and couldn't even pick some stuff up. I willed out what I did today and I'm kind just pizzed off that I wasted my time. A little frustrated to say the least. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

    Agree with Joe! Any time is better than no time. And you didn't push yourself too hard, which can be a mistake after being ill. Next round will be better!

    It was just so weird. I literally couldn't lift half the weight on the tricep rope pull downs and the pec flys.. it was the strangest feeling. Just weakness.

Some good starting numbers, and the guys are right, don't push yourself so hard, especially after being ill. Main thing is you showed up and did some work, that counts for a lot.     I saw a personal trainer today. I said that I wanted to work my butt and this is what he had me do. I thought about Jmama today because of the "sex machine" which I laughed at because it's right infront of a mirror and it's awkward flashing my crotch to the gym. But I couldn't do the whole stack like he does.
    I'm glad I went to the gym, but I still felt so weak from being sick. I literally sweated my butt off and I still don't feel like I did that much. But still glad I made it in and hopefully tomorrow I'll get some more stregth back.

    try 100lbs next time.
    you need to be able to squeeze the life out of someone with those inner thighs like i can (and plan to).

    Yeah, I was thankful I was wearing underwear under my gym pants today.. I was worried that the seam of my pants would rip and that would have been embarrassing.. but just incase, I hung my hands infront of my crotch... instead of the shorts that say "Juicy" across the butt, they should have that across the crotch..

    Ok. Feeling so much better today and I'm defintely on the road back to normal health. Today felt good, triceps felt a little weak, but I increased some of the weights on other lifts, so it just might be from that. I'm not too upset with today's work out and tomorrow I will KILL my legs...
    But.. there was a breakthrough today.. There are these 4 guys that are there everytime I'm there and we all just do our thing. But this morning, one said "Good morning." Sounds funny, but I was a little excited.. maybe they're starting to realize I'm not going to be a fairweather gym goer.. hahaha..
    oh.. and my butt is definitely sore from yesterday.

    Thank you DM.. I'm feeling so much better.. the whole time I was sick and couldn't eat, all I was thinking about was my body eating my muscles because I couldn't eat anything.. my poor 9 inch t-rexers! hahahaha
