Im starting to build a tolerance to caf so now I drink a total of three cups per day and it works really well. I did drink one cup per day but that wasn't enough so now I drink three. I am not using it as a pre workout anymore I don't think it really works as well as my Alpha Rage. It is just missing some ingredients that I really needed.

Just had another great workout with my black coffee. I had three cups this morning and it went really well. I'm happy with the results from it. I don't get increased focus but I do get some great energy from it. It's a great product to use for pre workout supps

And cheep! And no nasty extra ingredients! Have you tried adding a dash of whey to your coffee? It adds a nice taste and assists you in meeting your protein requirements for the day.

Only thing about that ^^ is protein changes when heated. So just something to keep in mind. As for coffee ...you'll get a caffeine boost but it won't help with focus. I stopped for a bit preworkout stims but now back to taking amino energy. It's not as overwhelming as jack3d say, but gives you the focus you seek and the pump too. Nothing beats a solid diet and CONSISTENT sleep, however. I think if my sleep was more spot on, I'd have no use for a preworkout stim.

I agree with getting the right amount of sleep I think that's really important for training and working out. I think you should consider taking two cups of black coffee before you workout. It works great for me and I get great natural energy from the caf in it. It really boosts me up and I even feel like I get extra pumps from it. Def a winner in my book. I am also working out with a five day split right now.

think its a great thing 5Kg I really do its one of my favorite pre workouts to use. Cheap and easy I use it in combination with my Alpha Rage they really both work well. I think that its great for energy and focus also. I drink two or three cups before working out.

This actually doesn't matter - heat denatures it, but that's what happens in your stomach anyways. Your body can't absorb entire protein chains, it breaks them apart into individual amino acids to digest them, and heat won't do anything funky to the individual amino acids.

Yea there isn't a problem with the protein when its heated denaturing doesn't ruin the protein at all it just changes its form. This is normal when heated. I will add my whey to my coffee in the morning for sure that's a great idea. I love it! I Will let you know how it goes soon.

Yes, I missed that one. So if this were true, I assume you don't cook your chicken? Heating protein sources is fine.

Yes heating protein is definitely fine there is nothing wrong with it at all. IT just goes through its natural denaturing process. This does not ruin the protein at all it just makes it change form. Just like said above it really just depends on what you are looking to do and what your goals are. You should calculate your macros to see where you stand.

It depends on the person. For example, I could drink coffee and it does nothing for me (pre-workout wise), same can be said with some pre workouts too. Everyone will react different. So if coffee gives you that energy then stick with it, if not then explore with some pre-workout supplements.

Coffee is working for me as we speak but it may change for sure. I think that I will consider PWOs in the future and actually MGN makes some great ones out there. Alpha Rage is my favorite one that they make but I'm about to try their new formula Intenze. It's packed with energy and extreme focus. I think I will use this next. I'm adding this to my supplement stack

That's great to hear bro. I think you should consider taking a pre workout supplement also it really helps the overall benefits of energy and focus. Have you ever heard of Alpha Rage before? Its a top notch pre workout supplement that I have recently discovered works really well.

When buying any food supplements, you'd be better off buying from the sites in the UK that carry certification to confirm the content and quality of their products. If the company doesn't provide these, then shop elsewhere.

On a related point, worry less about things like the protein content not being as it should. Some products online will contain banned substances. That's why you always want to make sure the seller can provide the certification.

eBay is tricky bro you really have to be careful out there. There are some scams out there. I think that you should consider shipping from another source. Have you ever tried this site to see what they offer?

That's the best option. Whole food is always better. If you are low on money, you can still find suitable low-cost foods. They may not be the most exciting, but if it is results you're after then thy do their job. Thin beans, lentils, cottage cheese, eggs, milk. Whey protein used to be a cheaper alternative. However, in the UK, you now have to pay 20% VAT on those products. Food items are generally exempt from VAT so it works out cheaper for the better quality source anyhow.

Another good source of cheap protein is to scan the reduced sections in supermarkets. If you try later in the day, you can get some great bargains with meats. Don't worry about the best before dates, since you can freeze it on day of purchase. I've got around 20 chicken breasts I purchased around a month ago in my freezer. The reduced price worked out at around 50p per breast. You couldn't get cheaper breast from the oldest trick in Soho.
