Default Need help with le booty

I've been pretty satisfied with my body until I actually noticed how much I have to work on my butt. I have a lot of cellulite as well around my butt and outer thighs . My butt also needs a lift, and I want it to be bigger, rounder, and overall more 'shapy.' I'm doing a variety of exercises for my abs, arms, and cardio as well. I also started doing squats today. The one thing that bothers me most about my body is that dip that I have on either side of my hips. Is this the body form I'm stuck with or would you say it is because of my love handles? What workout tips do you have for a lifted, bigger, more shaped butt, and losing those love handles? Any tips regarding diet will be appreciated as well. Thank you all so much for the help. I attached a few links of pictures I took for you all to get a better idea of what I'm talking about.

even if you have a good figure I see what you mean.

Losing fat will obviously make it look better, like you said, you started today with squats, so give it time, girls with good glutes that I know have no problem squating +135lbs for many reps, so you can figure that it will take some time.

sure with a better development of your glute medium and maximus will make your butt look lifted.

deep squats, lunges with dumbells in each hand (walking or static in one position with one leg at the time), romanian deadlifts, glutes kicks and external rotation (plenty of those variatons on youtube), etc. are great exercises.

thats for trainning, the rest will be diet.
I do not count reps, I make every rep count !!

Ok. Your description of your body made me wonder if the pictures were a joke. You have a good shape. If anything you just need to lose a bit of weight and bulk your butt. A lot of this is heredity. But, the only way to shape your butt (bc you are not very overweight) is to work it with as heavy weight as you can. I recommend no more than 8-10 reps, 3-5 sets of any "butt" exercise. Do NOT listen to women who don't workout much and who may tell you that if you use heavy weights you will "bulk". Its not true, especially if you want some definition. We generally do not have enough testosterone to bulk. Squats (ideally with a bar on your shoulders) are ideal. And squat to at least to a 90 degree angle. I squat as low as I can. Lunges with weights are also great. There are many types of lunges, but they should be weighted. I am also really big on weighted bridges. Put in "bridges" in the search option here and they will show how to perform a bridge. I do them with 45 lbs; however, this is one exercise that I perform 30 reps, 3 sets. 15 reps, slow and 15 fast. You really need to squeeze your butt. Also, do not forget to work your quads or hamstrings. Part of what you do not like about your butt, has to do with your legs and how they connect with your butt. Look on this page for leg exercises generally, and try to perform them HARD 2x per week. There is also an excellent magazine for women "Oxygen" with generally has a number of routines. You will notice a difference in 6 weeks of exercise.

Do NOT forget your upper body. Everything needs to balance. I am sure your will be fine. Your shape is cute, and with a bit of work, I believe that you will be happy.

    This is excellent advice!

And yes .....persistence is key with diet and the gym. Keep up the good work OP. it can be easy some days to get discouraged but we all just have to keep at it.

^^^^^ all good advice. Don't be scared to lift some heavy weight. Start light enough to get your form correct but work for progression in weight and you will see good results if diet and your work out program are correct.
Start a log here and link it in here so we will see it .
Health and feeling good is my goals.
