BD's ILSA Push Pull Record Breaker Strongman Write up

[Brute]

Excellent contest over the weekend. We raised a lot of money and received huge piles of toys for the local kids who woudln't have gotten anything for Christmas otherwise.

Push: Options were log press and axle press. I opted for log as our monster was hitting the axle. My opener was enough to win the event, so I just stopped there. Nick cleaned and pressed 360 on the axle, but its still nice having the second highest press in the show.

Log Press - 200 pounds.

Pull: Options were floor deadlift or 18" deadlift. I opted for 18".
600: good lift
650: good lift
700: good lift PR +25 pounds. wish I had called for 750, it would have gone no problem.

Second highest pull in the show. Nick broke the state record by pulling 830.

That's awesome Brute! We did a similar thing at my local gym a couple of years ago.
It was lifting a million pounds for Ryder (local child with cancer.)
We hit 1 million... but it took all day for all of us combined.
