    did heavy week workout on thursday.. my legs are still a little bit fatigued by regular exercise. excellent set up.
    Squat 2.1x BW Squat, 1.75xBW Bench Press, 2.5xBW Deadlift (425/350/500)
    205 lbs @7%

    I just finished week 5 and I have gained 3/4 inch on my legs, they are now sitting at 24 inch. Just have to wait about 4 days more and then the true 5 week results can come.

    did week one today. A little sore LOL. Good workout

    Did week 2 today: not as sore, but that was a Frickin insane workout! I was thinking about giving up when I started throwing down the lunges, but I stuck with it (of course, right?) and it turned out to be great! Bravo!

    Hi my name is Jeremy, known as jonesjk80. The leg workout that you have posted, sounds like it is really intense. I've ben on vacation for 2 weeks, as soon as i get back in to routine, thats the workout I want to do for my legs, I need to improve that area the most.

    I have read in the past that leg extensions are useless except for people needing rehab to the knee area. Any truth to it? Also, if I do regular deadlifts on leg day can I do stiff-leg deadlifts on back day?

    I avoid leg extensions because they make your lower quads balloon out.
    So they must be good if you like that.

    Squats make them grow evenly with nice shape.

    I get shin splints a few days following leg extensions, and they'll last for weeks.
    What do I do?

    Going to start this today, how many times have you guys repeated the three weeks for? I just took measurements of my leg today so hopefully ill see a few inches in a couple of months!

    Holy ****, so I just got back from doing Week 2 which is Quad week and while doing the 5 sets of triset squats, lunges, then leg extensions I felt like I wasn't even myself, I was so winded and I felt like I was going to barf because I probably ate too soon, this is what those 5 sets looked like:
    1.Squat: 315x10
    Lunges: 60x6
    LE: 135X12
    2. Squat: 315x8
    Lunges: 60x6
    LE: 135X12
    3. Squat: 275x10
    Lunges: 60x6
    LE: 115X12
    4. Squat: 275x10
    Lunges: 52.5x6
    LE: 115X12
    5. Squat: 275x10
    Lunges: 52.5x6
    LE: 115X12

    I recommend everybody do this routine! I measured after 3 weeks and gained almost a whole inch! I will warn you though, this routine separates the boys from the men. During the workout you will feel the following...
    Wanting to puke
    Constant rapid heart beating
    Feeling like you are going to pass out
    So much blood in your legs that there won't be enough in your brain to think properly!
    Intensity + Consistency + Progression + Food = Results no matter WHAT!

    This guy is definitely correct. By mixing weight lifting with reactive exercises you will increase your vertical jump. Here are my results.
