    Default Off-Season Goals

    Hello everyone,
I'm a 19 year old male currently competing as a thrower in college. Although this season is not yet over, I have begun thinking about my goals for this summer. I will continue throwing throughout the summer albeit most likely at a lower volume. However, my main goals will be strength gains. Although not satisfied, I am happy with and confident about increasing most of my lifts. In contrast, I am not as sure with increasing my bench press. What are some recommended programs for increasing my strength and power? I have read through the workouts on here, but I am looking for personal recommendations.
I currently weight 200lbs and bench about 250 if it helps. Also, do you think I could get this to around 285lbs in 3-4 months? Thank you

I appreciate the contribution, but I am looking for specific information concerning the bench press. My diet checks out and I understand the other article on training and cardio. I am not exactly new to lifting especially for strength gains(my squat and deadlift for example while not extraordinary are respectable and still increasing steadily), but I would appreciate knowledge on the bench.
