Default Tried sardines for the first time a few weeks ago

I was reading about how healthy they were and decided to give them a shot a few weeks ago. I can't believe I've been missing out on these my whole life. So tasty (the bone thing still freaks me out, but it's really easy to remove). They're great right out of the tin, but I've been trying to come up with recipes using them. So far I've made; tuna fish\sardine salad, a sardine\hummus spread (which was great on toasted pita chips), and last night I made pasta with; caramelized cabbage and onion, tons of garlic, capers, white wine, and a tin of smoked sardines. So good. Anyone have any other ideas I can try out with sardines?

You're wild XD You could always go with a tried-and-true sardine pizza, and I bet you could bread and pan-fry a ball of them like a crab cake (sardine burger?). Sorry I can't speak from experience here, but I thought I'd at least offer those up and let you be the guinea pig.

My grandmother always took sardines and mashed them up added some diced onions a splash of vinegar and a squirt of mustard... She would eat this on bread as a sandwich... I much preferred this spread on saltine crackers.

They're really good mashed up with chopped onion and hard boiled egg spread on toast or salty cracks. We also fry them up with onion, garlic, sweet peppers and tomato sauce and eat it with either rice or mashed potato and some green veg!
