    Default M.E. ~ Rock-N-It, 2014

    Okay...Here it is. My 2014 logging journal.
    .

    You know M.E., it won't be standard, but I do have a goal, and that is to get as rock-hard as possible; hence the name "rock-n-it". I've been doing a lot of, not necessarily intentional, bulking, and i'm more than ready to get rid of the fluff and harden up. I mean, all of it....i want to get rid of all of the fluff, which means completely watching and controlling my diet for the next few months. I can be good about that as far as logging what i eat, my diet plan, etc., so maybe at least that part of this journal can be "standard".
    .

    I still wing it all at home as for as exercise, etc., but hopefully within the next few months, with relocating, etc., that can change and joining a gym can become a priority for me.

    Alright, picture time. I took these pictures all just this morning so it's where i am at today. I contemplated waiting another day or so to "thin out" as much as possible before taking these, but then i thought, why? Better to be fluffy to notice a change, right. ; )

    What's up ME your looking good already glad to see you back at it tho...oh I noticed the tongue to haha
    Itís not about the amount of sets and reps you do, itís about how much effort you put into each set

    I am absolutely fluffy right now, but that's ok. I'm ok with it, but not for much longer. I'm assuming you're referring to Gene Simmons?

    Thank you Rich! (I'm gonna steal some weights from Joel's this weekend, too, i just haven't told him yet), and honestly, i am super pumped about this year. One final hurtle, which as much as i stress about it, i know will come and go, and then BAM, look out. That's how i'm feeling right now.

    lol. I can already tell this is going to be "big weights" kind of year, and i'm going to make a promise right now to update my pics at least in this log, every two weeks....at least one or two. Whether or not "boobs" are included, well, we'll see. I need to start putting myself on the spot, otherwise it's too easy for me to slip back.     I've decided, when i can, i'm gonna try to improve on my logging skills as best i can, as often as i can, at least during the week, when i'm able, because i know it will push me to do even more.

    It's hard for me to do, because i do a lot of random exercises, randomly, throughout the day, at work and at home, but as an example:

    Today at the office (so far):

    Bodyweight exercises:

    Chair arm dips:

    I'm a big believer that not having a gym membership, is not an excuse to be fat and lazy. You can look like you go to the gym by taking advantage of what you do have access to. Granted, i cannot wait to get myself in one, but i know i don't need it to look like i already "belong". I also have limited weight access at home, so it's not all bodyweight for me.

    Oh, and i read two chapters in the current book i am reading (The Cross Gardener) because it's just as important to exercize one's brain. : )

    Thanks Pixie...i take advantage of most of the time i can, no matter where i'm at, and what i do at work is only part of it, but it's a good part.

    lol It all counts!!! : ) I stole a 20 lb. dumbbell from Joel yesterday, too, so i'm pumped! I ate so clean this weekend, too, and i am feeling so bouncy happy. I know this cut will get to me eventually, but right now, i am feeling stoked!

    He has so much equipment at home, he won't miss it. Honestly, though, i found it right by the side of his computer downstairs (...i figured i'd have to scan through his work out room upstairs to find something i could use), so i'm guessing he probably uses it to do one arm curls waiting for pages to load on his computer lol, so he just might miss it, but i'll play dumb!

    I can imagine confusion across his face as he reaches down for his trusty dumbbell and there's nothing there




    With the office workout exercises, you might be able to throw some standing calf raises in as well, as long as you're in flat shoes or remove your shoes; if you want to add them, try 100 reps x 3 sets...that should just about fry them
