    Thanks Pixie! I'm excited to see it. I was happy to feel some soreness yesterday in my upper back because it just felt like when using the machines for "back", it entailed more arm work, but Joel said each rep concentrate on your back, pinching the blades together, and i guess it worked.

    I am loving it Rich. I swear, sitting here at work, it's what i think about most...going to the gym. Today will be my 7th time going in 10 days. I know the whole going to Joel's neighborhood for a gym was a little bit iffy, but really, it was probably my best choice. I'm not sure i would have the same enthusiasm if going on my own, and he is a GREAT motivator...(to the point sometimes i want to kick him where it counts when he's concentrating on telling me TWO MORE!!! and watching my arms, and not my foot.)

    Thanks Mark! I am going to try harder to only post once a week, at the most now, as far as pics. Just because i'm excited about things (i'm probably the only one who can notice yet), doesn't mean i have to shove it all down your throats. I've always been one to take pics for myself, to keep me motivated, but i'll keep those on my phone. It's super cute though, something i love, is Joel is noticing things quick on me too, and will take little videos without me knowing, while i'm going through some reps, and say things like "Look at the striations in your shoulders when you do that!" and things like that. I love progress. period.

    lol I'll see. Usually right after the gym, we run to Tops, (which is right there in the same plaza) buy some chicken, go to Joel's, (which is one minute away), have a protein shake, and i cook. It's all a big routine now! hahahha.

    Shan, I will try on thursday to get him to take a couple pics when i'm "pumped", like you say. I told him i am bringing my phone in the next time so that i can keep track better and start doing a "normal" log. So, i'll even see if he'll take a few on my phone for me.

    Pixie, I seriously, could not have it any better right now with him there pushing me. He yelled at me though yesterday because i didn't spot him lol. I don't know how!     Ha! I spent the night at Joel's lastnight because we didn't get back from the gym until after 8, and then i cooked, so i drove home (the 30 mins.) leaving at 5 a.m. so i could get more sleep once i got home, and forgot i had these braids in my hair, so it was a friz mess on top.

    I saw something this morning that Joel had posted on one of his racing/car forums (in a fitness thread....apparently every forum has one) ...made me smile huge! It really is a blessing to have someone so supportive to go to the gym with.

    Seriously, i'm only 5'1", so that's why i have to really watch my diet at the same time i try for muscle gain, which makes it all that much harder. Bob, you would be proud, i have never eaten so much protein in my life!!!
