    Exclamation Roid rage?

I am a 16 y/o guy & I have been diagnosed with having an unusually volume of Testosterone in my blood. When I'm working out,leg day in particular, I start to get more aggressive than normal & have this power surge feeling going through my body. I've concluded that this must be a very watered down roid rage. Is there anything I can do to reduce these aggressive reactions?

    roid rage isn't real
fight or flight instinct causes the rational thinking part of the brain to give way to the reactionary/defense portion. adrenaline and test are released as a defense mechanism

People pay good money for supplements promising to give them the aggression they're lacking. You get it for free. Why would you want to get rid of that?

My advice? Work on your mental focus. Aim to channel that aggression into every rep of every set. Oh yeah, and don't "spank one out" before you lift. One-way ticket to Crashville in my experience.

Let me get this straight.....a Doctor told you that you have unusually high levels of testosterone?

That is ****ing awesome. I would be killing it in the gym and the bedroom bro.

I have heard that folks with high T tend to bald sooner than men with normal levels. No real proof here though....

Have you seen star wars???? USE THE FORCE!

    Default Roid rage?

I thought that the link between balding and elevated test was relatively well established...

    From Wikipedia:

The trigger for this type of baldness [male pattern baldness] is dihydrotestosterone, a more-potent form of testosterone often referred to by its acronym DHT. DHT is an androgenic hormone, body- and facial-hair growth promoter that can adversely affect the prostate as well as the hair located on the head.[12] The mechanism by which DHT accomplishes this is not yet fully understood. In genetically prone scalps (i.e., those experiencing male or female pattern baldness), DHT initiates a process of follicular miniaturization, in which the hair follicle begins to deteriorate.
A guy at my school went bald in his late teens and early twenties. And from being in the locker rooms with him, he had a very prominent... Um... Testosterone producing area. Anecdotal evidence of a link perhaps...?

My problem lies not in the aggression during the workout, I'm loving it while I have a barbell in hand, but getting myself to cool down after the workout, when that aggression needs to taper down. Cold showers don't do it. Trust me, when I'm working out, I'm without a doubt "in the zone". You know what I mean? Its just that once I'm done, theres a good chance that the people around me don't have any idea why I'm so crazed, & I'd like to preserve my dignity a little better than that.

Use that head of yours bro. If a little brat ass kid is screaming at walmart you take him out of the store, right?!

So do the same, go AWAY from people until you calm down (after workout im assuming). This way you will not make a fool of yourself. When you learn to tame the beast you can go and be social. Until then.....i dub you "Hulk"

Being aggressive and a teen age boy go hand in hand. Learn self control. How high is the Test? It's supposed to be pretty high right now.
