Search on Beginners Workouts in the Forum - there are several great resources.

As far as motivation to keep on keeping on you might want to sit down and determine if this is something that you would "like" to do or if it is something that you are going attack and overcome. Mental approach is as much or more important than all the rest. Maybe write down your goals and motivations, post some inspirational pictures on frequently used mirrors or create your own motivations.

Best of luck - you will never regret committing to action TODAY!

I first would suggest picking one goal and sticking with it
    Gaining muscle = Caloric Surplus
    Losing Fat = Caloric Deficit

so you will have to allocate your diet to suit your overall goal first and foremost

These links should help you out!

    If Cutting Read the following:

I highly suggest you read here regarding your diet:

And also my article regarding fatloss on the site:

If Trying to add some size:

Eat in a caloric surplus, meaning eating more kcals than you need to maintain in order to gain muscle, size, and strength.
