I would stick to Orange Triad, Animal Pak, and NOW ADAM
3 very good as respectable multi-vitamins. OT has a nice joint/digestive complex as well.

Thanks for all the advice. Are any of these easily accessible in the uk, ie supermakets/pharmacy's, or would I need to order online?

i've been eating the NOW Adam ones.
i'm sure you can get that delivered in the UK.
i've found that at least here in the US it's easier to get better quality stuff at a good price if you order online anyway.

one weird thing is that it makes my urine turn a florescent yellow color.
like it looks radioactive or something. i guess it's just all the vitamins and stuff that my body doesn't need.
it makes it embarrassing to pee down the shower drain in the public showers though because everyone can see it swirl down the drain.

^Second this. I've gone through a few bottles of Orange Triad and have to say that it's one of the top contenders for me.

Animal Pak was my go-to and I'd still recommend it but my personal favorite is Uni-Vite, also from Universal. It's still got a killer nutritional profile but it's also only a four capsule serving size and more affordable then Animal Pak -- It's a win/win.

Check the ingredients. If the vitamin C is ascorbic acid and there's no rosehips or bioflavonoids, and if the vitamin E is dl-alpha tocopherol (as opposed to d-alpha tocopherol) then you have a synthetic compound and it's not worth it. If, on the other hand, you have a natural compound (+bioflavonoids, d-alpha) you're on the right track. All of the above listed products are reputable, and getting caught up in which brand you use is probably paralysis by analysis. Since GMP and the USP help regulate what goes into many products there's not one that's going to make a significant difference over the other, especially if you're using it as insurance for proper nutrition- not instead of proper nutrition.

I can see that the supplement is just enough for your body. Make sure to limit intake of Vitamin A, D, E and K.
